Tired of and unfulfilled with life in the rat race, a weekend away in the country prompted us to change our lives.
Seeking connection with nature and to live more simply, we said ‘fork it’! We quit our careers in education and science, packed up our life and moved from Brisbane to Lebrina, a peaceful township in Tasmania's East Tamar Valley. Armed with a little bit of knowledge, a boot load of passion and a love of good food, we became farmers. Good pork is hard to find. So, the decision was made to raise our own. Since 2017, we have grown from unknown pig farmers to meatsmiths and artisan producers of a diverse range of simply delicious products. All made by us on the farm. We are passionate about Tasmania and we love to feature it’s produce to create uniquely Tasmanian flavour combinations. |
After making the decision to pack it all in and move to Tasmania, three generations now call Fork it Farm home.

Just a short 40 minute drive from Launceston, our farm is located in the heart of the Pipers Brook Wine Region and is on the Tamar Valley Wine Route.
