FORK IT FARM...
RAISING & CRAFTING ALL NATURAL TASTY MEAT & CHARCUTERIE
Super friendly and curious... Berkshire pigs are a heritage breed of pig originating from the English county of Berkshire. They are small pigs with stubby snouts, short legs, upright ears and are almost entirely black, with white points on the feet, nose, and tail.
Fork it Farm pigs are raised naturally on pasture where they are free to root, graze, wallow and play. They also do a lot of snoring.
Fork it Farm finished pigs bring back the incredible pork flavor of yesteryear. The meat is darker in colour and has a firm feel, tastes rich, sweet and has a clean aftertaste, soft fat and great marbling which makes for great flavour and juiciness. This is what real pork should taste like!
We butcher and cure our artisanal charcuterie on-farm, using only meats which deserve to be celebrated.
We are proud to practise whole animal butchery at Fork it Farm: this means that we use every part of the animal to make our products and we have designed our product range based on this ethos.
Our processes and products are curated to bring out the best in every cut of the animal, whether it's hot smoked bacon or the humble jowl - each element is important and out of respect to our animals, we give each piece of meat the time and respect it deserves. Creating as fresh, local and natural as we can reliably and safely be.
All our products are free of chemicals, artificial colouring, flavourings, emulsifiers, preservatives or nitrates. We believe this delivers delicious meat & charcuterie.

After saying 'fork it' to the stresses of city life, we packed up our life and moved to Lebrina, a peaceful township in Tasmania's East Tamar Valley.
As avid foodies and animal welfare advocates, creating Fork it Farm has allowed us to produce and distribute nutritious, naturally grown food to our friends, family and the community.
We want to be part of the shift in the way food is produced and consumed. We believe local, ethical and sustainable farming benefits animals, consumers, farmers, communities, and the earth.
We want to share our love of farming and food with you by producing and providing delicious meat & charcuterie and welcome you to visit and learn how and why we do what we do.
